A friendship,
a vision,
a new way to raise a glass.

Refolo, Esco, Primo.

Refolesco comes from Refolo, a breeze that carries something new, and Esco, to go out, to leave the beaten path and take a different road.
At a turning point in our lives, that is exactly what we did.

«Primo» is the starting point: the first in a series of botanical explorations of the Italian landscape.

The ritual, not the alcohol.

We've always loved the ritual of drinking together. What draws us in is the atmosphere a glass can create: the connection, the sense of being together, the pleasure of being in the right place with the right people. So we asked ourselves: could we enjoy all of that in a new way, lighter and more deliberate?

That's how Refolesco was born: an elegant, complex and surprising drink.

From Piedmont apples to mountain water.

Refolesco «Primo» is made with Piedmont apples and pure mountain water. To this base we add a portion of acidified kombucha and a selection of Alpine botanicals rooted in the territory, including Genepy and gentian root.

No added sugar: the complexity comes from the raw materials and the fermentation, not from sugar.

A rigorous method, guided by master fermenters.

The secret lies in a rigorous artisan method: multiple fermentations, a second fermentation in the bottle, and separate infusions of Alpine botanicals. Body and Top are infused independently, so each aromatic, resinous and bitter component can be governed on its own.

Guided by master fermenters, we created a drink that's refreshing yet intriguing — a long sip that calls for the next one, and keeps the evening going.

We believe mindful drinking should keep evolving. That's why we're experimenting with new raw materials from every corner of Italy.
